Jindal Group MD Sahil Jindal Launches Premium EV Cab Service Trevel, Targets 500 Cabs by 2026 - Indian Startup Times

Sahil Jindal, Managing Director of the Jindal Group, along with three entrepreneur partners, has announced the launch of Trevel, a mass-premium electric vehicle (EV) cab-hailing service, beginning operations in Gurugram. Positioned at the intersection of luxury, sustainability, and reliability, Trevel aims to redefine urban mobility by offering a business-class travel experience powered entirely by electric vehicles.

Trevel plans to scale its fleet to 500 premium EV cabs by 2026, positioning itself as a next-generation alternative to traditional aggregator-led ride platforms. The company currently offers city rides, airport transfers, and hourly rentals, with outstation services set to be launched shortly.

Unlike conventional ride-hailing aggregators, Trevel follows a 100% self-managed fleet model, with all drivers onboarded on monthly payrolls. This structure enables consistent service quality, better driver accountability, and higher safety standards. The company has also introduced a Zero Cancellation Policy, ensuring customers never face last-minute ride cancellations, along with a 100% On-Time Guarantee powered by advanced scheduling and route-optimisation systems.

Each Trevel vehicle is equipped with AI-enabled advanced dashcams that analyse driver behaviour, speed patterns, and journey risk indicators. Additionally, rides feature GPS-enabled live location sharing, offering real-time safety visibility to passengers and their families.

Commenting on the launch, Mishu Ahluwalia, CEO of Trevel Mobility, said:
“Gurugram’s dense corporate ecosystem, strong airport connectivity, and digitally savvy population make it a natural launchpad for Trevel. The city reflects India’s evolving mobility expectations—premium, safe, electric, and professional. With Trevel, we are moving from ‘convenience with compromise’ to business-class reliability.”

He added that the company is working closely with city authorities and ecosystem partners to streamline EV charging infrastructure, route safety, and fleet optimisation as it expands across additional zones in Gurugram.

Trevel has been founded by a quartet of Sahil Jindal, Mishu Ahluwalia, Nagarjun K R, and Rishi Raj Kochhar, and follows a unique mass-premium positioning aimed at serving both daily urban commuters and enterprise clients seeking dependable, high-quality mobility solutions.

As the company accelerates its national growth plans, Trevel aims to create a new category in India’s urban mobility ecosystem—one where premium EV rides, AI-powered safety, and professional driver management operate within a single, transparent platform.
