Testify, a Korean startup developing generative AI-powered software quality assurance (QA) solutions, has secured $69K (100 million KRW) in seed funding from Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Gyeonggi CCEI). This investment led to Testify’s final selection for TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startup), the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ flagship technology startup support program.

Gyeonggi CCEI’s investment decision reflected strong confidence in Testify’s differentiated AI QA automation technology and explosive growth achieved within just one year of establishment. Recognizing the company’s technical potential, Gyeonggi CCEI provided seed investment and recommended Testify for the TIPS program, viewing it as a promising global deep tech company.
TIPS is Korea’s premier startup support program where private investors and the government jointly discover and nurture promising technology-driven founding teams. Through TIPS selection, Testify has secured up to $347,000 (500 million KRW) in stable research and development (R&D) and commercialization funding over the next two years.
Founded in October 2024, Testify has captured industry attention by recording $21.5 million (31 billion KRW) in revenue, representing 3,200% year-over-year growth within its first year. This remarkable growth is driven by VeriGEN, an AI-powered automated QA solution developed by veterans from major IT companies including Naver and NHN.
VeriGEN automatically generates test cases through a proprietary AI engine trained on over 150,000 real-world enterprise data points. Companies implementing the solution achieve transformative efficiency improvements: 80% faster testing speed, 55% cost reduction, and 30% higher defect detection rates compared to traditional manual QA approaches. Leading Korean IT companies including NTS (NT Service) and Socar have already adopted Testify’s solution and are experiencing quality innovation.
Testify plans to concentrate the newly secured investment and TIPS R&D funding on advancing VeriGEN’s capabilities. The company will refine its test case generation and automation technology to expand market share in Korea’s B2B on-premise sector, while strategically targeting global SaaS markets in North America and Europe through AWS Marketplace entry by 2028.
Woonyoung Jung, CEO of Testify, stated, “Securing seed investment from Gyeonggi CCEI, a credible accelerator, followed by TIPS selection represents official recognition of Testify’s technology and vision. We will use this opportunity as a springboard to significantly strengthen our R&D capabilities and establish ourselves as a deep tech company setting new standards in the global QA market.”Meanwhile, Testify has been solidifying its position as Korea’s leading QA startup through consecutive achievements in major support programs, including winning the Excellence Award at the ‘2025 Gyeonggi Deep Tech Startup FLEX’ Demo Day and being selected as an innovative startup for ‘IBK Changgong.’
