Singapore-based deeptech startup Datakrew has raised $2.6 million in a Pre-Series funding round as it looks to scale its AI and IoT-driven solutions for electric vehicle (EV) ecosystems. The fresh capital will support product innovation, global expansion, and deeper integration with EV manufacturers and mobility providers.
Founded in 2019, Datakrew specializes in real-time EV battery intelligence, using a combination of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and IoT to deliver actionable insights. Its platform enables predictive maintenance, battery health diagnostics, and performance optimization, helping OEMs and fleet operators improve efficiency while reducing operational risks.
A key focus area for the company is solving challenges related to battery degradation, safety, and lifecycle management—critical issues in the EV value chain. By continuously analyzing battery data, Datakrew allows companies to anticipate failures, optimize charging cycles, and extend the usable life of battery systems, ultimately reducing costs and improving reliability.
