Indian Startup News on Instagram: “AI startup Perplexity has signed a three-year agreement worth about $750 million with Microsoft to use its Azure cloud services, according to a Reuters report. Under the deal, Perplexity will run a range of AI models through Microsoft’s Foundry program, including systems from OpenAI, Anthropic and xAI, the report said. Perplexity is backed by Nvidia, whose chips are widely used to train and deploy advanced AI models. A Microsoft spokesperson told Reuters that Perplexity has chosen Microsoft Foundry as its primary AI platform for model sourcing under a new multi-year agreement.
