Actress Parineeti Chopra’s politician husband, Raghav Chadha, recently spoke fondly about his wife during his appearance at the Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters (MBIFL) 2026, making it clear that Parineeti holds a singular place in his life. Calling her his “only love,” Raghav shared heartfelt insights into their relationship and his perspective on love and politics.
During his session at the event, Raghav stated unequivocally, “Parineeti is my only love.” He was quick to clarify that while politics plays a central role in his life, it does not qualify as love. “It’s my passion,” he explained, adding that love, according to him, belongs in a completely different space.
Reflecting on their first meeting, Raghav revealed that Parineeti was unaware of his political identity at the time. “She didn’t know what I did. Or what I stood for politically,” he said. He suggested that this anonymity played a crucial role in allowing their bond to develop organically, without the pressure or baggage of public perception.
Raghav further shared his views on public life and visibility, noting that politics already comes with excessive public ownership. “Visibility should never be the goal,” he said, extending this belief beyond governance to life in general. He emphasised that the urge to make a meaningful contribution should always outweigh the desire for recognition.
For those unaware, Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra welcomed their first child, Neer Chadha, on October 19, 2025. The couple revealed their baby’s name through a joint Instagram post, with the caption reading, “Jalasya rūpam, premasya svarūpam – tatra eva Neer. Our hearts found peace in an eternal drop of life. We named him ‘Neer’ – pure, divine, limitless.”

Earlier, the couple had also shared a joint announcement post welcoming their baby boy, which read, “He’s finally here. Our baby boy. And we literally can’t remember life before. Arms full, hearts are fuller.”
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha had announced their pregnancy in August last year. The couple tied the knot in September 2023.
