To predict disease risks, prevent outbreaks and protect vulnerable communities

Epinova Health, a new artificial intelligence (AI)-driven public health technology startup, has announced its launch with an ambitious mission: to transform global public health from reactive disease management to proactive, intelligence-led prevention.
Building on the technological capabilities, scientific expertise and life sciences ecosystem of Prognica Labs, Epinova Health is being established to address critical gaps in disease surveillance, outbreak early warning, epidemiological intelligence and public health decision-making.
The startup plans to develop and commercialise an integrated AI-Powered Public Health Intelligence and Decision-Support Platform that combines epidemiological, geospatial, climatic, environmental, demographic and healthcare-system data to help organisations identify emerging disease threats, predict population-level risks and coordinate timely preventive interventions.
With an initial focus on infectious diseases such as malaria and dengue, Epinova Health envisions expanding its intelligence capabilities across multiple diseases, countries and public health programmes.
The startup will initially prioritise malaria and dengue intelligence initiatives, with proposed applications in Nigeria and India, before pursuing broader opportunities across Africa, the Middle East, Asia and other international markets.
