According to a Mint report, the company has already appointed Axis Capital, SBI Capital Markets, and DAM Capital as bankers for the planned public issue.

CEO Akash Gupta said, “We are working as a listed startup. In terms of compliance, governance and audits, we are ensuring everything is in place so that whenever the right timing comes, we can hit that button.”

Before its planned IPO, Zypp is looking to raise $40–50 million in pre-IPO capital from private equity and impact-focused funds, aiming to increase its last reported valuation of $331 million from March 2025.

The company’s fleet has doubled in six to seven months, while operating revenue rose nearly 50% to Rs 437.9 crore in FY25 from Rs 292.7 crore in FY24.

Founded in 2017 by Akash Gupta and Rashi Agarwal, with Tushar Mehta later joining as co-founder and COO, Zypp operates around 20,000 electric two-wheelers across Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai.
