Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has teamed up with the Trivandrum Engineering Science & Technology (TrEST) Research Park to kick off a bold new initiative aimed at accelerating innovation in India’s electric mobility ecosystem. The collaboration has given birth to EVolve EV Innovation Cohort, a six-month deep-tech incubation programme tailored to early-stage startups, innovators, and researchers working across the EV value chain.
EVolve isn’t just another startup programme it’s a holistic launchpad designed to nurture cutting-edge solutions from ideation to market readiness. The cohort welcomes pioneers in vehicle design, battery and energy storage technologies, power electronics, charging infrastructure, software and connectivity solutions, and circular economy innovations.
Selected participants will benefit from structured support, including technical validation, industry-specific mentorship, and access to strong ecosystem networks spanning academia, industry partners, and investors. Over six months, these startups will refine their products, strengthen business models, and sharpen market strategy all culminating in a high-impact Demo Day. At this showcase event, founders will pitch their innovations to potential partners, investors, and key stakeholders in the EV world.
By combining KSUM’s startup-enabling framework with TrEST’s deep-tech research capabilities, EVolve seeks to fast-track sustainable mobility innovations that can shape India’s EV future. Kerala already emerging as a vibrant hub for advanced tech and research stands to benefit from this programme by nurturing local talent and attracting global attention in the electric vehicle space.
