Napptix, a leading game advertising and ad tech company, has announced its strategic investment in Akai Space, an AI enablement and Data Labelling startup founded by three IIT Bombay graduates – Himanshu Kumar, Kunal Purohit, and Daksh Katkar.
Akai Space specializes in high-quality data labeling through scalable crowd-sourcing models, enabling AI and machine-learning teams to train more accurate, inclusive, and production-ready models. The startup focuses on combining human intelligence with smart workflows to deliver reliable datasets across multiple industries.
This investment marks Napptix’s first institutional backing of Akai Space, alongside a long-term technology partnership that will see Akai Space powering new age technology development across several Napptix products keeping future readiness and sustainability at its core.
“Akai Space stood out to us because of their strong technical foundation, clear problem understanding, and the ability to execute at scale,” said Chirag Shah, Investor and Co-founder of Napptix. “High-quality labeled data is the backbone of intelligent AI systems, and Akai Space is building exactly that layer with speed and responsibility.”
“Having Napptix as our first investor and technology partner is a strong validation of our vision,” said Kunal Purohit, Co-Founder of Akai Space. “Their focus on innovation across ad-tech, sustainability, and AI aligns perfectly with what we’re building at Akai Space.”
