Delphyr has raised €1.75m to support its artificial intelligence platform designed to reduce the administrative workload faced by healthcare professionals.
Founded in 2023, the Amsterdam-based platform supports healthcare professionals in hospitals, primary care and mental health settings with quick search and summary tools. It consolidates patient data from notes, lab results and correspondence into a single overview.
Multiple investors joined the round, including the founders of Hugging Face and DEGIRO.
Founder and chief executive officer Michel Abdel Malek said: “Healthcare professionals often spend a significant portion of their time on administrative work and searching for information.
“From my experience as an anaesthesiologist, I know how frustrating that can be.
“With this investment, we can further develop and expand our AI agents so professionals get time back from day one, while maintaining the highest standards of privacy, security, and clinical quality.”
According to Delphyr, users can access relevant clinical guidelines and trusted sources directly through the system. The platform also supports ambient listening, securely capturing consultations and automatically transforming them into structured clinical notes linked to the patient record.
The system also supports specialised workflows by preparing patient summaries, consultation notes and drafted responses for correspondence and e-consults, which are electronic consultations between clinicians, while automating administrative tasks.
Delphyr says the platform connects with existing healthcare systems so professionals do not have to learn new software or use complex dashboards. It runs on secure European infrastructure and processes patient data within the practice environment.
Rather than replacing existing systems, the company says the platform adds an intelligent layer designed to improve accessibility and streamline workflows.
In 2024, the company secured a convertible loan of €275,000 from Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland.
