
Tsuyo Manufacturing, electirc vehicle powertrain maker, on Tuesday said it has been selected among 15 Indian startups to represent the country in the ‘deeptech’ category at the CII CIES Startup Delegation to Japan 2026, aimed at fostering technology collaboration with Japanese firms.The selection comes as Japan accelerates its push in electric mobility, opening avenues for Indian startups to engage with global manufacturers and investors.According to the company, the engagement is expected to facilitate discussions on joint development of next-generation EV technologies, supply chain integration and potential partnerships with global original equipment manufacturers and tier-1 suppliers.The delegation will also provide participating startups access to international capital networks and opportunities to explore new markets across Asia.“Through this engagement, we aim to explore joint development opportunities, enable deeper supply chain integration, and contribute to the broader ‘Build India’ vision by strengthening local capabilities with global collaboration. said Vijay Kumar, Founder and CEO, Tsuyo Manufacturing.Recently, Tsuyo received Single Window Clearance approval from the Government of Karnataka for its proposed 20-acre EV Powertrain Manufacturing and Validation Campus in the Dharwad–Hubli region.The facility is expected to house design, development, testing and large-scale manufacturing operations for EV powertrain components.
