Kenyan travel-fintech startup Afrinity has joined FasterCapital’s EquityPilot programme to help it refine execution priorities, strengthen go-to-market messaging, and align initial product milestones for early deployment and user acquisition.
Founded by Joseph Peters, Afrinity is a Nairobi-based platform that combines curated travel experiences across Africa with embedded fintech tools for savings, budgeting, currency conversion, and transactions. The platform focuses on community engagement and youth-driven content to promote authentic local experiences and economic participation.
It has now been selected for the EquityPilot programme run by FasterCapital, a global venture builder and online incubator dedicated to co-funding and co-founding innovative startups, which will focus in the first 30–60 days on refining execution priorities, strengthening go-to-market messaging, and aligning initial product milestones for early deployment and user acquisition.
“Afrinity aims to make African travel more discoverable and financially manageable while creating opportunities for local talent. We look forward to working with FasterCapital to prioritise the features that matter most to travelers and creators,” said RB Mwaurajr, founder and chairperson of Afrinity.
