Rural healthcare startup CureBay raises ₹100 crore to expand clinics and AI services

Bhubaneswar-based rural healthcare startup CureBay has raised around ₹100 crore in a Pre-Series C funding round led by IvyCap Ventures.

The round comprises ₹69 crore in equity from IvyCap Ventures and existing investors, along with more than ₹30 crore in debt from Trifecta Capital, Alteria Capital and VentureSoul Partners.

CureBay will use the funds to expand its operations across India, strengthen its technology and artificial intelligence capabilities, and extend its healthcare network in underserved communities. The company also plans to enter new markets, including Andhra Pradesh.

Founded in 2021, CureBay operates more than 250 technology-enabled clinics across seven states. The company said it has served more than 17 lakh patients and conducts over 400 health camps every month.

Its operating network includes more than 1,800 Swasthya Mitras, over 530 trained clinical staff, more than 230 doctor partners, and over 210 partner hospitals and laboratories.

The platform brings together physical clinics, digital healthcare services, AI-powered screening and risk alerts, a 24/7 command centre, and CureBay Kavach.

Priyadarshi Mohapatra, founder and CEO of CureBay, said the funding would help the company expand its healthcare delivery network into more states and increase the use of AI across its services.

CureBay also works with the government on healthcare delivery initiatives and has been named the healthcare partner for Samriddhi Kendra, a Government of India initiative.
