The Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) at IIT Bombay, under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has successfully concluded ATMAN 3.0, its eight-week accelerator programme aimed at transforming early-stage HealthTech startups into investment-ready enterprises.
The programme culminated in a Demo Day, which brought together investors, healthcare leaders, industry experts and policymakers to engage with some of the most promising healthcare innovations emerging from India.
ATMAN 3.0 witnessed strong nationwide participation, with 173 HealthTech startups pitching their ideas to TIH IIT Bombay. Following a rigorous selection, mentoring and evaluation process, six startups emerged as winners from a final cohort of 13 accelerated ventures. These startups were recommended for cumulative seed funding of up to ₹6 crore, with each startup eligible for funding support of up to ₹1 crore, subject to evaluation outcomes.

The startups shortlisted under ATMAN 3.0 include:
- Prezitech Health Pvt Ltd – Precigo, a snap-on needle tracking system for ultrasound machines enabling real-time procedural planning and guidance during high-precision medical interventions
- Attox Research Laboratories Pvt Ltd – AMRIT, focused on combating antimicrobial resistance
- Queliz Lifetech Pvt Ltd – UltraHand, a robotic rehabilitation device
- Deepfacts Private Ltd – proRITHM, an AI-powered remote patient monitoring platform using compact wireless wearable devices for real-time vital tracking
- MicroHeal
- Raycura Medical Technologies – BETTER, a rehabilitation device designed for stroke and paralysis recovery

Industry Perspective
The Demo Day featured a keynote address by Mr. Dileep Mangsuli, Chairman, Cancer Treatment Services International, and Senior Vice President, Siemens Healthineers. He highlighted that the future of healthcare lies in delivering quality care at scale, with artificial intelligence playing a critical role in early screening and prevention.
He outlined three key pillars shaping the sector’s transformation:
- Patient twinning for personalised care pathways
- Precision therapy to improve clinical outcomes
- Intelligent use of digital data and AI to enable timely, informed clinical decision-making
Strengthening the Innovation Ecosystem
Beyond startup pitches, the event featured discussions on healthcare investment trends, evolving regulatory frameworks and emerging technology models. Portfolio startups from earlier TIH IIT Bombay programmes also engaged with investors for follow-on funding and strategic partnerships, supported by dedicated networking sessions.
Through ATMAN 3.0, TIH IIT Bombay continues to strengthen its role in bridging the gap between research and commercialisation, reinforcing IIT Bombay’s position as a key enabler of scalable, impact-driven healthcare innovation in India.
