Jamshedpur: The Navachar Research Incubation and Innovation Council, in collaboration with Arka Jain University, will host the “East India Startup Demo Day” on March 1, 2026.
The event aims to connect growing startups with active investors, angel networks, and wealthy individuals (HNIs) from across India.
High-Stakes Funding for Regional Startups
This isn’t just a showcase; it’s a platform for real deals. Organizers have selected 15 revenue-generating startups from Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, and Odisha. These founders are looking to raise between ₹30 lakh and ₹3 crore to scale their businesses.
Who is Attending?
The event will bring together a powerful group of investors:
- Five major investors from Delhi, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.
- 30 angel investors and local business leaders from Jamshedpur.
- Members of the newly launched “Jharkhand to Bharat” investment corridor.
Beyond the Pitch
To ensure results, the day will feature closed-door meetings. After the initial pitches, investors and founders will sit down for private talks and “due diligence” to finalize investment commitments.
Why This Matters for Jamshedpur
The goal is to put Jharkhand on the map as a top-tier startup destination. By encouraging local business leaders to invest, the council hopes to unlock the “untapped potential” of Eastern India.
The initiative is backed by several partners, including GR8Designs, MERA TV, CTC Group, and Startup Grind.
