Credifin Limited (formerly PHF Leasing Limited), a listed NBFC on the Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India, has announced the launch of its latest financial product—EV Startup Loans, aimed at fostering entrepreneurship in the electric mobility sector.
Headquartered in Jalandhar with a corporate office in Delhi-NCR, Credifin is set to provide loans of up to INR 50 lakh to individuals or companies aspiring to establish EV dealerships or related businesses.
Targeting the creation of 1,000 EV entrepreneurs over the next 2–3 years, the company is leveraging its wide footprint—over 200 locations across 13 states—to democratise EV entrepreneurship in India. With more than 100 existing OEM partnerships across the e-rickshaw, L5, and electric two-wheeler segments, Credifin’s support goes far beyond financing.
The EV Startup Loan is designed as a comprehensive ecosystem support model. Entrepreneurs will receive assistance not just in financing, but also in dealership setup, business tie-ups with reputed EV manufacturers (at no additional cost), and trade advances to procure inventory. Credifin will also provide vehicle financing for end customers, making the ecosystem self-sustaining.
