Experience Tampere is not just a showcase campaign. It offers an opportunity to:

The five-day program, held 1.–5.6.2026, combines tailored professional networking and pitching opportunities for startups, one-to-one job interviews, and a broader introduction to Tampere as both a working environment and a place to live. The City of Tampere provides accommodation and curated activities for successful candidates and their families, so everyone can experience what the city has to offer together.

Real outcomes and real growth

Over the past three years, the campaign has increased the city’s global visibility and brought about 35 international professionals to explore Tampere. Local participating companies have recruited much-needed experts, and a few startup founders have relocated to Finland after participating. 

“The campaign brings more than talent. It brings growth, new ideas, diversity and long-term collaboration opportunities for Tampere-based companies and startups,” says Nuppu Suvanto, Service Manager at International House Tampere. “Tampere aims to be a place where both career and life develop side by side.”
