BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Healthcare startups in Northwest Arkansas got a chance to pitch their business ideas to investors and the community at large Wednesday night.
The Fuel Accelerator Program celebrated its 2026 health-tech cohort with a public showcase.
The cohort is made up of eight to ten high-growth startups that brought new healthcare technology to the table.
One of those businesses is Way-Pave – an app that connects those looking for work with potential employers, almost like a dating app.
Founder Andrea Roten says Wednesday’s public showcase will allow her business to expand.

“This will enable us to reach 11,000 customers globally, which is 60% of the Fortune 500,” Roten said. “So it’ll give us that opportunity to connect with frontline employers that much faster, and that’s what’s going to help us scale. Because our technology is ready, the marketplace is built, and now we just need that enabler and it’s coming.”
Fuel Accelerator has been guiding these startups long before tonight’s pitch meeting – equipping them with curriculum, access to capital and providing mentorship.
