AI-based precision nutrition startup NUSEUM Lab said Monday it has been chosen as the final selectee for “Global ImpactPreneur (Global ImpactPreneur) 2026”, a global impact startup growth program jointly organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-koo Foundation.
“Global ImpactPreneur” is a program that selects and supports promising startups that pursue both solving social problems and sustainable business growth, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region. UNDP, through the program, is identifying technology-based companies that can contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and providing intensive help with impact measurement and global expansion strategy.
NUSEUM Lab is developing an AI precision nutrition engine, “NUSEUM”, that recommends customized meals and foods based on vast health data such as an individual’s health screening results, underlying conditions, medications, and genetic information. Using the so-called “Food-as-Medicine” technology, which turns food choices into medical-level decision-making, the company aims to prevent chronic diseases and extend healthspan.
In particular, NUSEUM Lab’s technical capabilities are strong in overcoming the limitations of dietary management that arise in remote healthcare environments. To address the problem that conventional remote healthcare remains limited to diagnosis and prescriptions and does not lead to patients’ day-to-day meal management, the startup is building a system that automatically generates patients’ diet guidelines based on clinical data from medical institutions.
The generated diet guidelines connect with delivery and commerce platforms, directly translating into real food choices and purchases. Through this, medical institutions can dramatically improve patients’ dietary adherence, while patients can easily put tailored meals into practice in everyday life. In addition, the connected platform companies are expected to create new user experiences and generate additional revenue through personalized health recommendation features.
During its participation in the program, NUSEUM Lab plans to further upgrade its impact measurement framework and expand its global healthcare and commerce partnerships. It also intends to push for full-scale scale-up in connection with raising investment, and plans to actively test the applicability of remote-healthcare-based dietary management solutions across various regions, including developing countries, by leveraging UNDP’s broad global network.
A spokesperson for NUSEUM Lab said it will press ahead with building a global AI infrastructure for personalized medical interventions that links medical institutions, commerce, and delivery platforms, emphasizing its vision to create an environment in which choosing food leads directly to health management.
