“Today, @i_am_holt becomes @ElevenLabs Field CTO – working side-by-side with customers around the world to bring frontier AI into production… He represents the best of ElevenLabs – always running toward the hardest problems, helping others, taking ownership, and operating with exceptional integrity. I’ve known Alex for nearly a decade, and one thing hasn’t changed: he keeps raising the bar for himself and everyone around him,” Staniszewski wrote in a post on X.
As the field CTO, Holt will help enterprise customers deploy AI in real-world business environments by integrating it into their systems.
Holt joined the startup’s engineering team in 2023, when it had just 10 employees, helping build both its products and deployment capabilities. Since then, the company has grown to 500 employees.
“Since joining ElevenLabs, Alex and the FDE team have worked with Fortune 500 companies, FTSE 100 companies, and governments around the world to move AI from pilots into production. Their work spans helping Deutsche Telekom deploy the world’s first agent capable of live translation and assistance within a phone call, to supporting the Ukrainian Government with voice agents that keep government phone lines staffed when air raid warnings force employees to shelter,” Staniszewski and cofounder Piotr Dabkowski wrote in a blog post.
Prior to joining the startup, Holt served as UK health lead at Palantir Technologies and also worked at Microsoft. He is an alumnus of University of Oxford, where he studied mathematics and computer science.
The appointment is expected to be the first of more additions to the startup’s leadership team.
In February, the company raised $500 million in a series D round led by Sequoia Capital at an $11 billion valuation, with Andrew Reed joining its board.
The London-based startup announced a third close of the same funding round in May, bringing in new investors including BlackRock, Wellington, and NVIDIA (through NVentures), although the amount raised was not disclosed. Per startup intelligence platform Tracxn, ElevenLabs has raised a total of $811 million across eight funding rounds since its founding in 2022.
The startup surpassed $500 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within the first four months of 2026, driven by enterprise adoption of its voice agents across customer support, sales, recruitment, and marketing.
