The Korea Startup Forum (KOSPO) Southeast Regional Council is launching a long-term working project to strengthen the AI Transformation (AX) capabilities of startups in the Southeast region. The KOSPO Southeast Regional Council (Chairman Hwang Cha-dong) is promoting an AX transformation project that reflects the work environment and organizational characteristics of local startups.
This project is characterized by going beyond simple AI education to support participating companies in directly designing and executing AX strategies applicable to the field. It operates through a simulation method that analyzes each company’s work structure and organizational operation to derive AI utilization strategies and apply them to practical work.

From organizational diagnosis to AI agent development
The project will be conducted through a total of seven sessions within this year. Key topics include diagnosing organizational and HR systems, developing customized AI agents, dividing work processes, enhancing AI literacy, and establishing AX implementation strategies. Participating companies will experience the process of designing AI utilization models tailored to their respective business environments and deriving actual solutions for business innovation.
The management team for this project includes Hwang Cha-dong, Chairman of the KOSPO Southeast Regional Council; Kang Ji-eun, CEO of Groupship Korea (AX Subcommittee Chair); Lee Woo-jin, CEO of Amuse (Vice Chair); Lee Ha-neul, CEO of Softsquare; Woo Dong-ju, CEO of Loen Korea; and Hong Seong-gyu, CEO of Linox.
The KOSPO Southeast Regional Council expects to generate tangible results that differentiate it from typical AI education programs, as experts from various fields such as organization and human resources, AI, system implementation, and manufacturing solutions are participating together.
With the rapid spread of AI technology recently, there is a growing need for startups to establish AX strategies to improve work efficiency and productivity. However, due to limitations in organizational size and manpower, many companies are struggling to implement AI and build operational systems in-house.
The KOSPO Southeast Regional Council plans to support local startups through this project by helping them establish AI utilization strategies tailored to their specific situations, leading to a substantial improvement in business competitiveness.
Hwang Cha-dong, Chairman of the KOSPO Southeast Regional Council, said, “I look forward to this project further strengthening the business competitiveness of startups in the Southeast region,” adding, “We will continue to pursue various projects to support companies’ AI transformation.”
