Ho Chi Minh City-based EON Tech said the status recognizes its capabilities in deploying and integrating OpenAI technologies and providing AI management services to organizations in Vietnam.

The startup is developing its EONSR AI Gateway platform, which provides a centralized system for organizations to connect to and manage multiple AI platforms.

The platform is designed to help organizations address challenges related to information security, data protection, access control, and cost management as they integrate AI into their operations, EON Tech said.

The partnership with OpenAI is expected to enhance the international-standard integration capabilities of EON Tech’s AI management infrastructure in Vietnam.

OpenAI Select Partner is one of three partner tiers — Select, Advanced and Elite — in the OpenAI Partner Network, which was launched in June 2026, according to OpenAI.

The network applies strict standards for deployment capabilities, security and system integration, according to EON Tech.

Select Partners include technology companies, system integrators and management consultancies selected for their expertise in building, selling, deploying and providing AI solutions, GPT models, APIs and AI management services.

The recognition comes as AI adoption accelerates among Vietnamese government agencies and businesses.

OpenAI is investing up to US$150 million in 2026 to develop its partner ecosystem, with a goal of training and standardizing 300,000 professionals worldwide, EON Tech said.

Before EON Tech, Vietnamese technology group FPT received OpenAI Select Partner status earlier this month.
