Healthtech startup CARPL.ai has secured $10 million in a Series A funding round led by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), marking a significant milestone in its efforts to expand the use of artificial intelligence in medical imaging worldwide. The round also saw participation from existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners, along with other undisclosed investors.
The fresh funding will help the company enhance its technology platform, speed up product innovation, and strengthen its international sales and delivery capabilities as demand for AI-powered healthcare solutions continues to grow.
Fresh Investment Builds on Earlier Funding
The latest investment comes after CARPL.ai’s $6 million funding round in 2023, which was backed by Stellaris Venture Partners and a group of angel investors. With this new capital infusion, the company plans to further develop its AI infrastructure while expanding its presence in global healthcare markets.
The startup aims to improve the capabilities of its platform, making it easier for hospitals and diagnostic centres to adopt and manage artificial intelligence applications for medical imaging.
Simplifying AI Adoption in Medical Imaging
Founded in 2018 by Vidur Mahajan, CARPL.ai has developed an AI-powered platform that helps healthcare providers access, deploy, manage, and monitor medical imaging AI applications through a single interface.
Instead of integrating multiple standalone AI tools individually, hospitals and radiology centres can use CARPL.ai’s platform to manage various imaging applications in one place. This simplifies deployment, improves operational efficiency, and enables healthcare institutions to adopt AI technologies more effectively.
The platform has been designed to support radiologists and healthcare professionals by streamlining the integration of AI solutions into existing clinical workflows.

Expanding Marketplace of AI Applications
One of CARPL.ai’s key offerings is its AI marketplace, which brings together a wide range of medical imaging solutions from developers around the world.
The marketplace currently hosts more than 300 AI applications developed by over 100 vendors, giving hospitals and imaging centres access to a broad portfolio of diagnostic tools through a unified platform.
These applications support various imaging workflows, allowing healthcare providers to choose solutions that match their clinical and operational requirements while avoiding the complexity of managing multiple independent software systems.
Growing Presence Across Global Healthcare Markets
CARPL.ai has steadily expanded its international footprint and now serves 30 hospitals and medical centres across multiple regions, including North America, Europe, the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Latin America.
Its growing customer base reflects increasing adoption of AI-enabled imaging technologies among healthcare providers seeking to improve diagnostic workflows and operational efficiency.
The company’s platform is used by several prominent healthcare organizations and institutions, including the Singapore government, RadNet, I-MED Radiology, Fleury, Medica, and the Clinton Health Access Initiative in India.
Capital to Accelerate Technology and Global Expansion
CARPL.ai plans to use the newly raised funds to strengthen its core technology stack while accelerating the development of new platform capabilities.
The company will also invest in expanding its global sales and delivery teams to support customers across existing and new markets. Strengthening these teams is expected to help CARPL.ai scale its operations while improving customer support and implementation services for healthcare providers adopting AI-powered imaging solutions.
By continuing to invest in product development and international expansion, the startup aims to make advanced medical imaging AI more accessible to hospitals and radiology centres worldwide.
As healthcare organizations increasingly look for integrated platforms to manage AI applications efficiently, CARPL.ai is focusing on building infrastructure that simplifies deployment and enables healthcare providers to access multiple diagnostic technologies through a single ecosystem. The latest Series A funding provides additional resources to advance that strategy while supporting the company’s continued global growth.
