Startups across Asia raised a combined $246.9 million this week, based on disclosed funding rounds tracked by Techloy. Investor capital flowed heavily into AI and deep-tech, with Gestala and South Korean AI startup Wrtn accounting for more than half of the disclosed funding. Several aerospace and space-tech startups also attracted significant capital.

Here are the biggest disclosed startup funding rounds across Asia this week, ranked from highest to lowest.
/1. Gestala, $84M, Brain-computer interface, China
Shanghai-based Gestala has raised about $84 million (RMB 570 million) to push its ultrasound-based brain-computer interface technology further. The company secured the capital through an Angel round and an Angel+ round, with HSG, Lens Technology, Sinovation Ventures, C Capital, Dalton Venture, Seas Capital, Tsing Song Capital and Gobi Partners among the investors.
Gestala is developing BCI technology that uses functional ultrasound imaging, focused ultrasound, and AI models to observe, decode, and modulate activity deep within the brain. The fresh capital will go toward expanding the company’s operations and advancing development of the technology.
