Week 40: Latin America Startup Funding Led by Jeeves


Startups across Latin America raised a combined $110.4M this week, based on disclosed funding rounds, with investor capital flowing primarily into fintech. Funding also reached an energy technology startup, while Chilean retail AI startup Alteria secured an undisclosed angel investment at a $3M valuation.

The Week’s Largest Startup Funding Rounds

Here are the biggest disclosed startup funding rounds across Latin America this week.

/1. Jeeves, $110M, Fintech, Mexico

Corporate payments platform Jeeves raised $110M in a round led by CoinFund, with participation from AllianceBernstein, Andreessen Horowitz, Coinbase Ventures, CRV, GIC, Global PayTech Ventures, ParaFi, Vista, Wintermute and Y Combinator. Jeeves provides corporate cards, accounts payable, treasury payments, and expense management for companies operating across multiple markets.

The company will use the funding to expand its products and global presence. Jeeves has also expanded its stablecoin products, including a wallet for instant payments to 190 countries and a stablecoin card now available in 35 countries.

/2. Alteria, Undisclosed, Retail AI, Chile

Chilean retail technology startup Alteria secured an undisclosed angel investment at a $3M valuation. Its AI assistant helps physical retailers provide product information to sales staff and customers, including technical specifications, prices, compatibility and store-level stock.

Alteria currently works with around 10 clients across more than 100 stores, mainly in hardware, technology and cosmetics. The company plans to remain focused on Chile before expanding into Peru, Colombia and Mexico, with a target of reaching $1M in annual recurring revenue by mid-2027.
