UAE Health-Tech Startup Vitalls Secures USD 1.5M Seed Investment from EST Growmore

Medical records often fail to follow patients across borders, leaving gaps in their health histories when they move between healthcare systems. UAE-based Vitalls is developing a digital health passport to address this problem, backed by a new USD 1.5 million seed investment commitment from Singapore-registered EST Growmore.

The UAE-based startup will use the investment to advance its AI-powered digital health passport. Additionally, EST Growmore holds an option to invest a further USD 1 million.

Why You Should Care

As people move between countries, their medical records often remain scattered across healthcare providers and national systems. For a region with a highly mobile workforce and an international population, making health information accessible across borders presents an opportunity for digital health platforms.

Vitalls’ seed investment comes as the UAE-based startup develops a digital health passport designed to give individuals control over their medical records. The backing from EST Growmore could also open access to the investor’s telecom and healthcare portfolio, creating potential routes for partnerships and regional expansion.

The Details

Founded in 2023 by Mehdi Bouchenak, Vitalls is an AI-powered digital health passport platform. It enables individuals to store, manage, and share their health records through a secure, user-controlled system.

On October 21, 2026, Vitalls announced a USD 1.5 million investment commitment from EST Growmore Pte. Ltd. during the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit. The investment forms part of Vitalls’ seed round, with EST Growmore holding an option to invest a further USD 1 million.

The platform addresses the fragmentation of medical records across clinics, laboratories, and countries. By allowing users to share their health information with healthcare providers of their choice, Vitalls aims to reduce the gaps in medical histories that can lead to repeated tests, delayed treatment, and incomplete patient information.

Beyond the capital, the partnership will give Vitalls an opportunity to explore distribution, partnerships, and product development synergies across EST Growmore’s investment ecosystem, which includes group companies in telecommunications and healthcare.

The Ripple

The partnership connects a digital health startup with an investment network spanning sectors that could support the distribution and development of its platform.

For healthcare providers, portable patient records could improve access to medical histories when individuals seek care across different systems. For investors, the deal highlights the potential intersection of healthcare technology, data accessibility, and cross-border mobility.

However, the platform’s broader reach will depend on how effectively it establishes partnerships and enables users to share health information across different healthcare systems while maintaining control over their records.

What to Watch

Vitalls’ next stage will focus on developing and rolling out its digital health passport, with the EST Growmore partnership potentially supporting its regional and international growth.

The companies will explore opportunities across distribution, partnerships, and product development. Whether these discussions translate into concrete deployments will be an important indicator of the partnership’s impact.

The additional USD 1 million investment option also remains a potential source of further capital for the seed round. Vitalls’ progress will show how effectively it can turn investor backing and ecosystem access into a portable health-record platform that works across borders.
