The Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) at IIT Bombay, under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, has successfully concluded the third edition of its flagship HealthTech accelerator – ATMAN 3.0. The eight-week programme, designed to transform early-stage HealthTech startups into investment-ready ventures, culminated in a high-profile Demo Day attended by investors, healthcare leaders, policymakers, and industry experts.
ATMAN 3.0 witnessed strong nationwide participation, with 173 HealthTech startups pitching their innovations. Following a stringent selection and mentoring process, 13 ventures formed the final cohort, out of which six startups emerged as winners. On Demo Day, these startups were recommended for cumulative seed funding of ₹6 crore, with each eligible to receive up to ₹1 crore, subject to final evaluation.

Insights from Industry Leaders
The Demo Day keynote was delivered by Dileep Mangsuli, Chairman of Cancer Treatment Services International and Senior Vice President at Siemens Healthineers. He emphasized AI, precision therapy, and data-driven decision-making as the three foundational pillars shaping India’s healthcare future.
He noted that delivering quality healthcare at scale will depend on how effectively technology can create patient-centric, economically viable solutions.
Strengthening India’s Healthcare Innovation Ecosystem
Beyond pitches, the event hosted expert discussions on investment trends, regulatory challenges, and emerging healthcare technologies. Portfolio startups from earlier ATMAN cohorts also engaged with investors for follow-on funding and partnership opportunities.
