Startup SwishX Launches Agentic AI Platform for Pharma, Raises $2.2 Million Seed Funding

Bengaluru-based startup SwishX has launched what it called the world’s first Agentic AI platform built exclusively for pharmaceutical and medtech companies, as healthcare and life sciences firms increasingly turn to artificial intelligence (AI) to automate commercial operations, improve efficiency, and reduce revenue leakages.

Co-founded by Dushyant Sapre and Jai Anand, former executives at Google and Amazon respectively, SwishX is a  Agentic AI startup focused on pharmaceutical, medtech, and life sciences companies.

The startup has raised $2.2 million in seed funding from investors including Blume Ventures, Powerhouse Ventures, Sadev Ventures, and Atrium Ventures. Founded by former executives from Google and Amazon, the company is targeting $5 million in contracted annual recurring revenue (ARR) and over 100 enterprise customers by the end of FY27.

SwishX said its AI-led platform is designed to help pharma and medtech companies automate sales, marketing, distribution, tender management, hospital rate contracts, and commercial workflows using autonomous AI agents. The company currently operates through four products — Tender IQ, Contract IQ, Marketing IQ, and Channel IQ.

Accelerated AI Adoption In Pharma

The launch comes at a time when pharmaceutical companies globally are accelerating AI adoption across drug discovery, supply chains, compliance management, and commercial operations. Industry estimates cited by the company suggest AI could unlock between $60 billion and $110 billion in annual value globally for the healthcare and life sciences sector.

SwishX said it aims to solve long-standing operational inefficiencies across the pharma industry, where many businesses still rely heavily on spreadsheets, fragmented software systems, delayed reporting, and manual workflows. According to the startup, its platform can improve revenue outcomes by as much as 30%.

“We are very outcome-obsessed as a company, it is literally in our tagline. So I will share numbers, not adjectives,” Dushyant Sapre, Founder and CEO of SwishX told CiOL.

According to Sapre, companies using Tender IQ have seen a three-fold increase in tender business within three months, while teams spending nearly 80% of their time manually responding to tenders have reduced that effort by 80%. He added that the platform’s AI can analyse procurement documents exceeding 500 pages with 93% pricing accuracy and “zero missed clauses.”

The company also claimed that businesses using Marketing IQ reported a 32% increase in brand visibility within six months, alongside three-to-five times higher campaign conversion rates compared to traditional broad-list marketing approaches. SwishX attributed this to precision targeting powered by its database of more than 8,00,000 verified doctors.

On the supply chain side, the pharma-tech startup said Contract IQ has helped companies reduce price leakage by 15%, while Channel IQ offers real-time visibility into secondary sales, stockist ordering patterns, and distributor compliance — areas that many pharma companies historically struggled to track effectively.

Tender IQ helps companies automate tender and RFP management, Contract IQ tracks hospital rate contracts and detects revenue leakage, Marketing IQ supports doctor engagement and AI-driven marketing campaigns, while Channel IQ provides real-time visibility into distributor sales, stock movement, and channel compliance.

The startup said it currently serves 39 enterprise customers, including 12 companies generating more than ₹1,000 crore in annual revenue. Sapre described these as “production deployments running real commercial workflows.”

‘System Of Action’

Unlike traditional analytics or CRM platforms, SwishX positions itself as a “system of action” rather than a “system of record.” Sapre said most existing tools either display data or automate isolated tasks, whereas SwishX’s AI agents autonomously monitor tenders, evaluate win probabilities, model pricing strategies, draft proposal-ready bid packets, and continuously improve through contextual learning.

“We are not digitising manual processes. We are replacing them with autonomous commercial execution where every action is tracked, every outcome is measured, and the system continuously improves,” he said.

The founder said demand for AI adoption is currently strongest across three areas: tender and RFP automation, compliant healthcare professional (HCP) engagement, and institutional supply chain visibility. He noted that many pharma companies still spend 120 hours to 150 hours manually processing a single tender, while poor visibility into hospital rate contracts and secondary sales data has historically resulted in 15% to 25% revenue leakage.

AI Governance And Data Security

The company also addressed concerns around AI governance and data security in healthcare. SwishX said it is ISO 27001 certified and SOC 2 Type 2 compliant, with GDPR-aligned data handling practices. According to the company, all customer data is encrypted both in transit and at rest, while regulatory checks tied to UCPMP and Section 194R compliance are embedded directly into marketing workflows. Bascially menaing that it follows global security and data protection standards to keep sensitive pharma and business information safe.

Sapre added that the platform follows a “human-in-the-loop” model where AI handles analysis and recommendations, while final decisions remain under human oversight.

SwishX currently follows a SaaS subscription-based pricing model, allowing companies to adopt individual modules based on their operational requirements. The startup also offers free trials and pilot programmes across its products as it looks to expand adoption in India and other emerging markets including Latin America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe.
