Healthcare Startups eNext ICU, RNT Health Insights and Cartogene Win IHH Catalyst Fortis India Edition – Prittle Prattle News

IHH Healthcare and Fortis selected the top three winners from 10 startups shortlisted out of 195 applications after a 12 week accelerator focused on clinical validation, deployment and scale.

IHH Healthcare and Fortis Healthcare have announced the winners of the first IHH Catalyst Fortis India Edition, an accelerator programme designed to support healthcare startups in moving from concept to clinical validation and wider adoption.
The inaugural India edition received 195 applications from across the country. After a multi stage selection process, 10 startups were shortlisted for a 12 week accelerator programme involving mentorship, clinical validation, operational refinement and real world testing opportunities within the Fortis ecosystem.
At the Demo Day, the startups presented their solutions to a jury of healthcare leaders, clinicians, investors and industry experts. The winners were selected based on team, level of innovation, impact and scalability, and business potential.

eNext ICU was named the winner for its 24×7 Tele ICU platform, which addresses the shortage of intensivists in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities by enabling remote monitoring and management of critically ill patients by experienced specialists. The solution also includes simulation based training for doctors and nurses.
RNT Health Insights was named first runner up for its AI powered medical devices designed to support early detection of upper gastrointestinal cancers during routine endoscopic procedures. The solution provides real time clinical decision support to help clinicians identify subtle lesions, improve diagnostic accuracy and standardise reporting.

Cartogene Therapeutics was named second runner up for its work in making CAR T cell therapy more accessible and affordable for patients with blood cancers in India. Its solution reduces the vein to vein treatment timeline to around 8 to 10 days, supporting faster treatment for patients with aggressive cancers.
The 10 startups in the inaugural cohort were Cartogene Therapeutics, CarePal Money, Tatvacare, MicroHeal, RNT Health Insights, Nalagenetics, Sunfox Technologies, eNext ICU, Kubo Care and Cureous Labs.

The cohort worked across five priority areas: patient journey and workflows, preventative and predictive care, chronic disease management, multidisciplinary care and oncology. Startups received access to Fortis clinicians, operational leaders, regulatory guidance, cybersecurity frameworks, interoperability support and commercialisation pathways.

Fortis Healthcare served as the India anchor partner for the programme, enabling startups to test and refine their solutions in real healthcare settings. IHH Healthcare and Fortis Healthcare plan to continue future editions of the programme, with the next IHH Catalyst edition planned in Hong Kong.
