Tokyo Artisan Intelligence eyes niche markets in railways, factories and robotics

TOKYO — Tokyo Artisan Intelligence is preparing to mass-produce its own chips next year with support from a Malaysian design house, its chief executive told Nikkei Asia, as the Japanese startup bets there is room for smaller artificial intelligence chip players outside the data center race dominated by Nvidia and other global giants.
