Seychelles-based startup Fusepay has launched an AI-native operating and financial system for trade businesses across the Indian Ocean and Africa.
Licensed as a payment service provider by the Central Bank of Seychelles, Fusepay is focused on solving one of the biggest challenges facing businesses across emerging markets – the disconnect between how businesses operate and how money moves.
The startup offers two complementary products that work together as one AI-native operating and financial OS for trade businesses. Fuse360 is the operating OS, helping wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers manage inventory, orders, invoicing, customer credit, collections, retailer relationships and daily operations, while FusePay enables businesses to collect payments, pay suppliers and manage financial workflows through licensed payment infrastructure.
“We didn’t build Fuse360 because the world needed another ERP. We built it because we saw businesses spending more time managing disconnected systems than growing their business. AI gives us the opportunity to rethink how trade businesses should operate from the ground up,” said co-founder and CEO Vidhyasahar Thiyagarajan.
To date, Fusepay has raised more than US$350,000 in pre-seed funding from Hustle Fund, Everywhere Ventures, First Check Ventures and Startup Istanbul, and has since welcomed additional investors including Velocity Digital and angel investor Ashwin Ravichandran. The company plans to expand into Mauritius in September 2026, followed by selected East and Southern African markets before the end of the year.
