MyRx Raises Seed Funding Led by SteerX VC to Expand Doctor-Led Primary Care Infrastructure - Indian Startup Times

Hyderabad-based primary healthcare infrastructure company MyRx has raised an undisclosed amount in a seed funding round led by SteerX VC.

The company said the fresh capital will be used to expand its clinical network and strengthen the technology infrastructure required to make doctor-led primary care more accessible at scale.

Founded in 2019 by Sourav Das, Surjit Das and Neel Rath, MyRx combines a doctor network with teleconsultation, electronic prescriptions and clinical workflow technology. The company works to connect patients, doctors and enterprise partners through a digitally enabled healthcare infrastructure.

Building Shared Primary Healthcare Infrastructure

MyRx is developing an infrastructure layer that allows healthcare and enterprise partners to integrate doctor-led primary care into their existing services.

Its platform combines doctor availability, teleconsultation, electronic prescriptions, consultation allocation, workflow monitoring and clinical audit. According to the company, the system is designed to help partners expand access to primary care while maintaining visibility across the delivery process.

Rather than operating solely as a consumer-facing telemedicine platform, MyRx is positioning itself as healthcare infrastructure that can support multiple partners and service models.

35,000 Teleconsultations a Day

MyRx currently manages approximately 35,000 teleconsultations per day and reports 15% month-on-month growth, according to the company.

The startup’s model brings together its doctor network and digital workflow systems to allow partner organisations to provide access to medical consultations without building the entire clinical infrastructure themselves.

The company said its operating metrics include a 95th-percentile first doctor-call response time of 30 seconds and a 95th-percentile overall workflow turnaround time of 179 seconds.

MyRx said these metrics reflect its focus on reducing delays within the consultation workflow as it scales its network and technology infrastructure.

Expanding Doctor Network and Digital Clinics

With the new funding, MyRx plans to expand its doctor network while investing in technology and clinical quality systems.

The company will also work on simplifying integrations for enterprise partners and developing its digital clinic model. The model is intended to connect remote doctor consultations with local points of access, creating a combination of digital and physical healthcare delivery.

Additional healthcare partnerships are also part of the company’s expansion plans.

Focus on Accessible Primary Care

MyRx said its infrastructure is designed to reduce the time and travel involved in accessing an initial medical consultation.

The company is particularly targeting situations where patients may have limited access to nearby healthcare services or face constraints related to work and caregiving responsibilities.

By expanding its doctor network and digital infrastructure, MyRx aims to make primary care more convenient for patients while creating additional opportunities for doctors to participate in digitally enabled healthcare delivery.

The latest funding round will support the company’s next phase of expansion as it works to build a connected infrastructure linking patients, doctors and healthcare partners.
