Startups across Latin America raised a combined $155.2 million this week across disclosed funding rounds, with most of the capital going to travel technology and fintech companies. Funding also went to a Brazilian edtech startup focused on university entrance exam preparation.

/1. VOLL, $140M (R$700M), Travel Tech, Brazil
Brazilian corporate travel and expense platform VOLL raised R$700M, approximately $140M, in a growth equity investment led by Warburg Pincus. The investment gives Warburg Pincus a controlling stake in the company and is being used to expand VOLL’s AI-powered corporate travel offering across the Americas.
VOLL combines corporate travel booking, payments, expense management and traveller support in one platform. The company serves more than 850,000 monthly active users at organisations including Itaú, Nubank, McDonald’s, Danone and iFood. Its AI tools include ExpenseHelper for expense auditing, RatesAudit for hotel-rate monitoring, and AirSave for identifying lower-priced airfare options.
