Sergey Tokarev and SET University Reveal Generation H Winners | Yonkers Times

SET University and Sergey Tokarev’s Tokarev Foundation have selected five finalists for Generation H. The main prize of €15,000 went to AtriaPRM, a startup that automates doctors’ work with medical documentation. Another grant of €5,000 was awarded to Enhance Your Ability, a platform for children who do not use spoken language. The final took place on 10 September in Kyiv.

The third season of Generation H was implemented as part of the EUNITED Digital Hub, co-funded by the European Union. The programme lasted 10 weeks, and this time teams from outside Ukraine were also eligible to participate. The mentors included Alexa Sinyachova (Moeco, Techstars), Fergus O’Dea (FIRE1, Keimon Medical), Volodymyr Nerubenko (TerraLab, Lab24) and Eric Henry (King & Spalding).

Five teams reached the final:

  1. OBRIY — a project that combines a licensed clinic, telemedicine, AI-powered triage and a patient medical record.
  2. AtriaPRM — a startup that uses artificial intelligence to automate the processing of consultation notes, test results and diagnostic reports, transforming them into structured data.
  3. PRM — a startup that helps patients perform exercises prescribed by a physiotherapist.
  4. Enhance Your Ability — a platform that brings together alternative communication tools, educational content and support for parents, therapists and schools working with children with special needs.
  5. TomoPulse — a startup that analyses data from digital chest tomosynthesis scans.

“In Ukraine, healthtech has evolved from an experiment into a fully fledged industry with its own leaders, whose products are already expanding beyond the country. This is precisely why the Generation H accelerator was created,” emphasises Yevheniia Klepa, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at SET University.

SET University and Sergey Tokarev’s Tokarev Foundation launched the national accelerator in 2024. Since then, more than 30 startups, along with 60 mentors and lecturers, have participated in the programme. Programme alumni have collectively raised more than UAH 11 million in investment. Artificial intelligence also plays an important role in the solutions developed by participating startups.

Healthtech has been developing rapidly alongside the adoption of AI for several years. This technology is used in data processing, the automation of individual processes and medical image analysis. AI will be applied even more widely in the future, from developing new diagnostic methods to treating patients.

“Throughout my years of working with technology and investment, I have seen hundreds of strong projects across different industries, but healthtech has always been a distinct field for me personally. Success here is not measured solely by a company’s valuation or revenue, but also by a person who can walk again, a family given another chance, or a doctor who has saved a patient’s life. This was the very purpose we had in mind when creating Generation H,” says Sergey Tokarev.

Ihor Liski, founder of the EFI Group investment holding company, believes artificial intelligence will become a driving force in the future of medicine. Current healthtech solutions are only the beginning of a broader transformation, as AI has the potential to significantly accelerate the process of turning scientific ideas into practical medical tools.
