CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – Definity, a privately funded platform designed to take down health care’s rising labor costs and workforce shortages, raised $7 million in funding alongside one of the region’s largest health care providers, it announced March 16.
The Covington-based company has developed technology designed to help health care systems find the right clinicians for open shifts with the labor it has available. Its Series A round was led by Accrete Health Partners, which is the digital venture arm of Bon Secours Mercy Health.
The startup also announced an ongoing partnership with Bon Secours Mercy Health, which will use Definity’s platform to help manage its workforce and build a stronger labor strategy.
