The funding comes as the company launches a non-invasive wearable headset to improve focus, elevate mood and also regulate stress through daily use.
Mave Health, a San Francisco and Bengaluru-based startup, has raised $2.1 Million in a seed funding round led by Blume Ventures, with participation from Stanford Angels, Dhaval Shroff, Raymond Russell and other investors.
Founded in 2023 by Dhawal Jain, Jai Sharma, and Aman Kumar, the startup focuses on building consumer-friendly neurotechnology solutions for mental health and cognitive performance.
The funding comes as the company launches a non-invasive wearable headset to improve focus, elevate mood and also regulate stress through daily use.
The wearable headset is based on transcranial direct current stimulation, a technology studied for over 25 years with more than 10,000 published papers globally and is designed for at-home use.
As per the startup, the device delivers low-intensity electrical stimulation to the prefrontal cortex, a region associated with attention, emotional regulation and stress response. Further, users are required to wear the headset for 20 minutes a day during routine activities.
Commenting on the launch, Dhawal Jain, Co-founder and CEO of Mave Health said, “The brain is the most complex system we rely on every day, and modern life is constantly overloading it. We expect it to perform at peak levels without giving it the support it needs. Instead of chasing short-term boosts that come with long-term costs, we believe in strengthening the underlying systems that drive focus, mood, and stress regulation. Our approach is to use neurotechnology that is proven to be safe, effective, and easy to use.”
He further added, “Most of us only think about mental health when something goes wrong. That is why my co-founders Jai Sharma, Aman Kumar, and I started Mave. We are giving people the ability to regain control over their focus, energy, and clarity so they can perform at their best and live more fully every day.”
Ahead of its public release, Mave Health completed a beta program with more than 500 users. Based on self-reported data collected after four weeks of use, 80 percent of users reported productivity gains exceeding 60 percent, while average mood improvement was reported at 77 percent. Additionally, 75 percent of users reported stress reductions above 50 percent.
Most users reported noticeable improvements within 15 to 20 days, with benefits increasing over time, the startup noted.
Additionally, the neurotech startup clarified that the device does not collect brain data or require continuous internet connectivity. Its companion application enables users to log sessions, personalize protocols and track progress, while also allowing integration with fitness wearables to monitor related health metrics.
The product is currently available for pre-order at $495, with shipping expected to begin in April 2026 in the United States and India.
