«The student club of the Master’s Programme in Engineering and Management of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SEntInnov) at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, and the Startup Grind Lisbon (a global startup community created to inspire and connect entrepreneurs) are pleased to announce the event “From Zero to Founder”, on 22 April (Wednesday), at 5.30 p.m.
“From Zero to Founder” is an event that brings students and the broader community interested in entrepreneurship closer to founders who are building startups in Portugal.
The concept is simple: replacing the stage with real conversations.
Instead of the traditional stage-and-audience format, the event will feature rotating small-group sessions, allowing for direct, informal, and genuine interactions with founders.
The goal is clear — to go beyond the “polished” stories and give space to the more real side of entrepreneurship: doubts, mistakes, difficult decisions, and the lessons that come with building a company from scratch.
Additionally, it will serve as a relaxed networking space where participants can meet like-minded people, explore opportunities, and build connections within the ecosystem.
