How Gagandeep Singh Randhawa Is Building Ease My AI Into India’s AI Infrastructure Backbone - Indian Startup Times

In an era where enterprises are generating enormous volumes of operational data every second, the real challenge is no longer collecting information, it is making sense of it in real time. That is exactly the problem Ease My AI is solving.

Founded by Gagandeeip Singh Randhawa, the Mumbai-based enterprise tech startup is building AI-powered platforms focused on surveillance automation, video intelligence, secure communication, and command-control systems for critical infrastructure and enterprise operations.

With products like REDX and Team Stream, the company is positioning itself as a full-stack AI automation platform built for sectors such as defence, airports, ports, power plants, industrial facilities, and smart infrastructure.

Building AI for Real-World Operations

The idea behind Ease My AI came from a simple observation: organizations were collecting massive amounts of operational data, but very few could use it effectively.

“What inspired me to start Ease My AI was the opportunity to bring advanced AI solutions into enterprise and critical infrastructure operations, where automation and real-time intelligence were still largely untapped,” says Randhawa.

He noticed that while enterprises had surveillance systems, sensors, and operational tools in place, most decision-making processes were still manual and reactive.

“Our goal was to build a platform that not only provides actionable insights but also integrates AI seamlessly into enterprise workflows, improving safety, security, and operational efficiency.”

Before founding Ease My AI, Randhawa spent over 15 years working across technology, automation, and enterprise infrastructure with organizations such as Tata Group and SingTel. The experience gave him firsthand exposure to how large-scale systems operate and where automation gaps existed.

“Many industries were still dependent on manual monitoring, fragmented systems, and reactive decision-making. That gap became the foundation for Ease My AI.”

From AI Solution Provider to Full-Stack Automation Platform

Today, Ease My AI focuses on solving one of the biggest challenges enterprises face: real-time monitoring and operational intelligence.

“Many organizations collect massive amounts of data from cameras, sensors, and operational systems, but struggle to turn it into actionable insights,” Randhawa explains.

To solve this, the company has developed a suite of AI-powered enterprise products designed for mission-critical environments.

Its flagship offerings include:

  • REDX — an AI-powered video analytics and surveillance automation platform
  • Team Stream / TymStream — a secure communication and remote collaboration platform
  • AI & IoT integrations connecting AI systems, sensors, audio/video streams, and LLMs
  • Custom enterprise deployments for airports, defence, ports, industrial facilities, and critical infrastructure

What differentiates Ease My AI from traditional AI software companies is its focus on integrated operational ecosystems instead of standalone AI tools.

“Our platforms can communicate seamlessly across any type of output, whether it is video analytics, IoT devices, audio streams, or AI/LLM systems.”

The company also prioritizes on-premise deployments, security, reliability, and enterprise-grade scalability  factors that are critical in defence and infrastructure environments.

Strong Adoption Across Critical Infrastructure

Among its offerings, REDX’s AI-powered video analytics platform has seen the strongest market traction so far.

The platform enables automated monitoring, anomaly detection, actionable alerts, evidence management, and operational visibility through centralized dashboards.

According to the company, sectors such as airports, ports, industrial plants, defence installations, enterprise campuses, and data centers are increasingly adopting AI-driven monitoring systems to improve security and efficiency.

“The combination of automated monitoring, actionable alerts, and secure communication significantly improves operational efficiency and security,” says Randhawa.

The startup has already completed deployments across multiple critical infrastructure environments and is now preparing for international expansion.

One of its biggest milestones came when Ease My AI was shortlisted among the top 20 startups out of more than 10,000 applicants under the UAE–India CEPA startup initiative opening new opportunities across the Middle East.

The company is also exploring expansion into Japan alongside broader international markets.

Digitizing Operations at GMR Power Plant

One of Ease My AI’s notable implementations has been with GMR Group’s power plant operations.

Before the deployment, several operational processes  particularly coal movement tracking and monitoring workflows  were managed manually using spreadsheets, follow-ups, and fragmented reporting systems.

Ease My AI digitized the entire operational flow using REDX, bringing monitoring, reporting, AI video analytics, CCTV integration, and command-level visibility into one centralized platform.

The deployment helped improve operational transparency, process accuracy, safety monitoring, and incident response capabilities while reducing manual dependency.

By transforming traditional surveillance systems into intelligent monitoring infrastructure, the company demonstrated how enterprise AI can drive measurable operational impact in large-scale industrial environments.

The Challenge of Building Enterprise AI

While AI adoption is growing globally, Randhawa believes building enterprise AI infrastructure is very different from building consumer-facing AI products.

“The biggest challenge while building Ease My AI has been creating a product that is not just innovative, but also reliable enough for enterprise and critical infrastructure environments.”

He explains that deploying AI in real-world environments involves challenges related to network conditions, hardware compatibility, lighting variations, security requirements, integrations, and operational reliability.

The company also faced long enterprise sales cycles and the challenge of educating customers about the difference between simple AI tools and enterprise-grade automation systems.

This eventually became a defining learning for the startup.

“AI alone is not enough. Enterprises do not only need AI models; they need a complete, reliable, and scalable platform that can solve real operational problems.”

That insight pushed Ease My AI to evolve from a pure AI solutions company into a full-stack AI automation and command-control platform provider.

Defence, Drones & the Future Roadmap

Going forward, defence remains one of the company’s biggest focus areas.

Ease My AI is currently working on innovations around:

  • AI-powered perimeter surveillance
  • Drone-assisted monitoring and response systems
  • Threat detection and restricted-zone monitoring
  • Secure communication infrastructure
  • AI-based command-control automation

The startup is also exploring integrations where surveillance alerts can automatically trigger autonomous drones for verification, live video streaming, and operational response.

Alongside defence, the company plans to deepen its presence across airports, smart infrastructure, industrial automation, and large enterprise operations.

Building a Global AI Infrastructure Company From India

Ease My AI has raised nearly $579.39K in seed funding so far, which the company says has primarily been used for strengthening product development, AI capabilities, engineering teams, and enterprise deployments. They have recently acquired a fund from GMR of 50 million USD in pre series A funding.

Its revenue model combines enterprise SaaS, licensing, deployment services, integrations, and long-term support contracts.

Looking ahead, Randhawa’s vision is ambitious  to build Ease My AI into a globally trusted AI infrastructure and automation company originating from India.

“We want organizations to move from manual monitoring and reactive decision-making to real-time intelligence, predictive alerts, automated workflows, and faster response systems.”

As enterprise AI shifts from experimentation to deep operational adoption over the next few years, Ease My AI is betting that the future will belong not just to AI models, but to reliable, integrated, real-world AI infrastructure platforms.
