Bengaluru-based edtech startup ProLearn has raised Rs 30 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by BEENEXT, with participation from Eximius Ventures, Antler and several angel investors.

The fresh capital will be used to strengthen its AI and reasoning infrastructure, expand curriculum-aligned content, hire talent across AI/ML, product and growth functions, and support go-to-market initiatives ahead of its public launch.

“The idea behind ProLearn is simple: every student should have access to a personal tutor who understands how they learn, adapts in real time and helps them stay engaged throughout the journey. That kind of personalised attention has historically been expensive and inaccessible to most students in India. We are determined to change that,” said Ravneet Singh, founder and CEO of ProLearn.

Founded in April by former Vedantu executive Ravneet Singh, the company is building an AI-native learning companion designed for K-12 students and competitive exam aspirants preparing for tests such as JEE, NEET, UPSC and CAT.

“An AI tutor that patiently listens to you, understands your learning level, and makes learning interactive, fun and retentive. Such a product, delivered at an affordable price point, has the potential to improve the learning outcomes of more than 100 million students in India,” added Saksham Pant, principal at BEENEXT.

Over the next year, the startup plans to launch its AI learning companion, expand subject and exam coverage, and onboard its first large cohort of learners.
