The Economic Times

Paediatric healthcare startup Hoola Health, formerly known as BabyMD, has raised $5 million in a funding round led by Peak XV Partners’ seed investment platform Surge, as it looks to expand its network of child-focused clinics.

Existing investor W Health Ventures also participated in the round, along with multiple angel investors, including Ashish Gupta, Abhishek Goyal and Bijou Kurien.

The Bengaluru-headquartered startup, founded in 2024 by Deeksha Senguttuvan, offers paediatric consultations, vaccinations, diagnostics, developmental assessments and therapy services through neighbourhood clinics, supported by digital tools for parents.

Hoola Health said it will use the capital to expand into new markets, strengthen its technology stack and scale its integrated paediatric care model.

Expansion plans

The startup is currently operating five clinics in Bengaluru and plans to expand to 35 centres over the next two years, across Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Delhi-NCR. In the near term, the company plans to deepen its presence in Bengaluru before entering newer markets.
