According to him, innovation is deeply embedded in India’s DNA and Bharat Innovates serves as an open invitation to countries, industries and researchers across the world to collaborate with India in shaping future technologies.
He highlighted that India’s education, research and startup ecosystem is undergoing rapid transformation. Initiatives such as the National Education Policy (NEP), Digital India, Startup India and various research-driven programs have encouraged young people to pursue innovation and entrepreneurship. Today, Indian students and researchers are making their mark globally in areas such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, space science, biotechnology and energy.
India-France Partnership Set for a New Phase
French President Emmanuel Macron praised India’s rapidly expanding innovation and startup ecosystem. He stated that Bharat Innovates 2026, being organized outside India for the first time, symbolizes the growing technological and scientific partnership between the two countries.

The showcased innovations covered areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, biotechnology, healthcare, energy, advanced manufacturing, smart mobility, space technology and defense technology. The exhibition demonstrated India’s growing capability to develop future-ready technologies and solutions to global challenges.
