Top 20 Funded Healthtech Startups In Pune 2026

Pune’s healthtech cohort sits at the earlier, leaner end of the city’s startup story. Where India’s healthtech sector attracted roughly $7.25 Bn nationally over 2014 to 2024, Pune’s contribution is concentrated in a smaller set of medical-device and preventive-care companies rather than mega-rounds.

Ranked by disclosed funding, medical-device maker Biorad Medisys leads Pune healthtech at $55.3 Mn. Fitness and coaching platform Fittr follows at $16.97 Mn, ahead of physiotherapy-focused FlexifyMe, which raised an INR 20 Cr Pre-Series A, and insurance-led primary-care startup Loop Health, which took $2.3 Mn in seed funding.

Biorad Medisys, founded in 2007, gives the city a genuine hardware anchor, having raised its $55.29 Mn across just two rounds to build a portfolio of implants and surgical devices, a capital-intensive model distinct from the app-led rest of the cohort. Fittr, built around online fitness coaching and community-led programmes, and FlexifyMe, which delivers online physiotherapy for chronic neck, back and shoulder pain, represent the consumer-wellness tier. FlexifyMe’s INR 20 Cr Pre-Series A was led by IvyCap Ventures and followed a $1 Mn seed round led by Flipkart Ventures, showing that even the city’s early-stage names are drawing institutional backers.

Loop Health rounds out the preventive-care end, pairing group health insurance with in-house primary care and taking $2.3 Mn in seed funding from Y Combinator and others. Across these names the pattern is consistent: cheque sizes are modest, rounds cluster at seed and Pre-Series A, and models range from surgical hardware to physiotherapy and insurance-led care rather than concentrating in one segment.

That profile mirrors the national picture, where healthtech funding held near $700 Mn in 2025 even as deal count fell to 54 and capital pooled in fewer, larger rounds elsewhere. Pune’s opportunity lies in its device and preventive-care specialists maturing into the growth stage, where a hardware maker like Biorad Medisys or an insurance-led primary-care model like Loop Health could raise the kind of larger cheque the city has so far lacked. The city’s engineering and manufacturing talent base, the same pool that feeds its automotive and industrial sectors, is well suited to the medical-device and connected-care segments that dominate its healthtech table. This list ranks the top 20 by cumulative disclosed funding.
