London fintech startup Quartz has secured £2.75 million in pre-seed funding to launch its AI-driven personal finance platform in the UK. Daphni led the funding round, with additional backing from Outward VC, K Fund, Kantox founder Philippe Gelis, and former N26 and Kraken chief product officer Gilles BianRosa.

Democratising Wealth Management Through AI

Quartz targets the glaring gap between expensive traditional wealth management and rigid standardised financial products. The company wants to deliver tailored financial insights to millions of consumers who usually miss out on dedicated guidance. Founded in 2025, the startup is led by André Silva, former head of global expansion at Revolut, and Mateus Mesquita Alves, former investment product lead at N26. The company operates with a 10-person team split across London, Barcelona, and Porto.
