African fintech startups have been invited to apply for the inaugural TWIF Changemakers competition, a new annual honour dedicated to recognising the individuals and institutions driving tangible, lasting impact in financial services.
The Week in Fintech, an independent news publication covering the people, companies, and ideas shaping the future of fintech, has opened applications for its first TWIF Changemakers initiative.
The platform is asking its community to put forward the names that defined the last 12–18 months across five distinct areas – big companies; startups; founders; VCs; and social good and non-profits.
Once the nominees are in, the judging will be done independently by an independent team of five judges from around the fintech world, spanning founders, venture capitalists, enterprise operators and policy experts. Nominations can be made here.
