The Seoul startup, founded by a short-film director in December 2025, makes AI tools for story development and grant paperwork and is testing a box-office forecaster against Netflix rankings

Destiny (데스티니), a Seoul AI startup founded by film director Moon Hak (문학), said on Oct. 26 that it has been accepted into NVIDIA Inception, the chipmaker’s program for AI and accelerated-computing startups. The company was notified on Oct. 12, ten months after it was incorporated in December 2025.

Inception members get access to NVIDIA technical resources and support, preferred pricing on hardware and software, partner offers and introductions to investors. NVIDIA says in its program FAQ that membership is free and takes no equity, and that applicants must be incorporated companies less than 10 years old with at least one developer and a working website.

Moon’s short film Aginui Bam (악인의 밤) was selected for the Short Film Corner at the 77th Cannes Film Festival and the film market of the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, according to the company. Destiny says it built its products around the planning and preproduction work Moon did as a filmmaker.

A script draft from one logline, grant forms filled in their original format

EPIC is a story-development tool for advertising, film, drama and webtoons. A user writes a one-line logline and answers a few questions; the tool proposes three different directions and develops the chosen one into a synopsis and a first-draft screenplay.

EDIT helps companies apply for government and local-authority support programs. It matches a company against the 1,783 Korean programs that were open for applications as of Oct. 23, then fills in the application form attached to each notice in its original layout and returns it as a Hangul (HWP), Word or PDF file. It also handles PowerPoint presentations and Excel work.

EIDOS pairs users with experts who are skilled with AI. The user watches the expert’s shared screen while they build a website, automate a spreadsheet or write code together; the expert applies revisions requested by chat or voice and delivers the finished files.

A pre-release box-office score, checked against Netflix country charts

Destiny is also developing DESTINY SCORE, which uses simulated AI audiences in different countries to forecast how a title will perform before release, expressed as a score against benchmarks such as Netflix rankings, the Hollywood box office and the Billboard charts. The company is testing its accuracy against Netflix’s country-by-country rankings.

In-house GPU servers and 14 languages

Destiny runs its AI models on its own NVIDIA GPU servers and develops products at its Seoul headquarters and corporate research lab. EPIC and EIDOS support 14 languages, including Korean, and all three services accept U.S.-dollar payments through PayPal for overseas users.

In April 2026, four months after its founding, the company was certified as an innovation-growth venture company by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (중소벤처기업부). In May the Korea Industrial Technology Association (한국산업기술진흥협회, KOITA) recognized its corporate research lab, and in July it was selected for startup commercialization funding from the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (중소벤처기업진흥공단, KOSME).

“Most of my time making films went into planning and preparation before the shoot,” Moon said in the company’s statement. He said Destiny’s job is to support that stage with technology so creators and companies can concentrate on the core of their work, and that the company would use Inception to refine its products and expand overseas.
