Israel-based sports highlights AI startup WSC Sports is set to transform the video ecosystem of CJ Superrace, South Korea’s premier motorsports event. WSC Sports announced on the 23rd that it will make its AI-powered video content creation and distribution technology available for the first time in domestic motorsports, beginning with the final round of the 2026 O-NE Superrace Championship, held October 24–25 at Everland Speedway in Yongin.
Never miss a “golden moment”: real-time AI editing comes to the track

Superrace, which marks its 20th anniversary this year, will hold its season finale under the theme “GOLDEN MOMENTS.” The key aim of introducing AI is to dramatically reduce the delay between the action at the track and fans’ viewing experience.
Previously, even when races were broadcast live, it could take a day for content teams to obtain footage for editing. A small staff also had to handle the manual work of resizing videos for different channels and uploading them, making it difficult to deliver highlights when fan interest was at its peak.
WSC Sports’ AI platform will address these challenges. It will analyze race footage in real time and automatically create highlights, then promptly distribute customized content across a range of digital channels. By significantly reducing the time required to produce content, the technology will allow staff to focus more on planning and engaging with fans.
Short-form videos target younger audiences as motorsports eyes a 2027 golden age

Starting with this season finale, Superrace plans to significantly expand fan engagement using WSC Sports’ solution through 2027. The plan is to quickly distribute short, action-packed clips on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok immediately after races, actively targeting younger audiences who are new to motorsports.
Technology proven on the global stage: “Timely delivery is key”
WSC Sports is a startup whose technology has already been proven in the global sports market. More than 700 sports organizations worldwide use its AI platform, including NASCAR, for motorsports video production, as well as the NBA, ESPN and LaLiga. In South Korea, the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) uses the platform to produce and distribute video content.
A Superrace representative said, “Motorsports is compelling because of the tension and dynamism that unfold at every moment, so it is more important than anything for fans to experience those moments quickly. Through this collaboration, we will shorten the gap between the track and fans and strengthen digital engagement so they can enjoy more vivid content.”
Oh Seong-taek, WSC Sports’ head of business in South Korea, also said, “In sports content, when it is delivered is just as important as what moments are shown. With AI technology proven on the global stage, we will actively support Superrace in delivering the content fans want, when they want it.”
