July 8-10: Over 130 Students from 13 Incheon Universities Participate
The “Incheon University Alliance Startup Academy” is being held from July 8 to 10 at the POSCO Global R&D Center in Songdo, aiming to revitalize technology startups among university students in the Incheon area and support youth entrepreneurship.

During the three-day Startup Camp, participating students are divided into the “General Division” and the “Club Division,” where they take on the challenge of proposing startup ideas to address local issues.
Outstanding teams selected at the Startup Camp will receive in-depth mentoring from experts and business consulting through the Startup Stepping Stone program, and will compete in the Startup Competition scheduled for October to showcase their business achievements.
Winning teams at the Startup Competition will receive a total of 20.5 million won in prize money and certificates. In particular, the grand prize and the top award winners in the General Division will be given the opportunity to visit “Japan IT Week Osaka 2026,” a world-renowned information technology (IT) exhibition held in Japan in November, as well as participate in overseas training for global networking.
After the academy ends, Incheon City and Incheon Technopark plan to continue supporting participants, not only by connecting them with government-backed programs but also by matching them with the 51 billion won “Incheon University Youth Startup Fund,” jointly established by Incheon City and nine universities, to help facilitate actual investment attraction.
In his opening remarks, Incheon Mayor Chan-dae Park said, “I hope the Startup Camp becomes a venue for students to share their visions and take a leap forward together,” adding, “We will spare no effort to support young people so they can fully realize and grow their dreams and abilities through entrepreneurship.”
