ABP Education, the education arm of the ABP Group, has invested an undisclosed amount in YoLearn.ai, a Noida-based AI tutoring startup operated by AI.YoLearn Private Limited, as part of a seed funding round.
Alongside the investment, ABP Education will provide content, marketing and distribution support as YoLearn.ai seeks to expand its voice-based tutoring technology for school students in India.
Under separate commercial partnerships, ABP Group education companies Headword Publishing and KIPS Learning are working with YoLearn.ai to develop AI tutors linked to their school textbooks.
The services, called Headword.ai and KIPSlearning.ai, combine Headword Publishing and KIPS Learning’s educational content with YoLearn.ai’s technology.
They are designed to give students AI-based assistance through material linked to their textbooks. Headword.ai is being introduced for the 2026-27 academic session, while KIPS Learning has also announced the rollout of its AI tutoring service.
Founded in 2025 by Kirti Prakash Mishra, YoLearn.ai develops voice-first AI tutoring technology that allows students to scan a code in a textbook and interact with a tutor using speech.
The service supports English, Hindi and other Indian languages, covering 22 languages.
It provides voice-based explanations, diagrams and step-by-step solutions through an interactive digital board, alongside practice and assessment tools for students following CBSE, ICSE and state board curricula.
Teachers can access AI-assisted tools for lesson planning, worksheets, homework, assessments, quizzes and classroom presentations.
School administrators have dashboards for tracking student progress, learning outcomes and platform usage.
ABP Education and YoLearn.ai said Headword Publishing and KIPS Learning together have a network of about 25,000 schools, giving the partnership potential access to nearly 100 million learners.
The partners aim to reach 150 million students and train more than 150,000 teachers in AI-enabled classroom instruction.
YoLearn.ai previously raised $500,000 in a pre-seed funding round at a reported valuation of $5 million. The round was co-led by DataAlpha.ai and White Swan Global, with participation from angel investors.
