JSW MG Motor India, on Friday, announced eight winners of the sixth edition of its MG Developer Program (MGDP), which focuses on automotive innovation. The programme received over 130 applications from startups across India under the theme ‘Innovation in Automotive’.
Nayan Technologies, Technod8.AI, LiveNSense, LW3, Smaartbrand by Acquink Solutions, Fitsol, Cautio and Meta Materials Circular Market were selected after a multi-stage evaluation process.
The startups will work with JSW MG Motor India and its ecosystem partners to explore pilot projects and real-world applications.
The selected startups are developing solutions across artificial intelligence (AI), mobility, industrial operations, sustainability and automotive supply chains.

18 reach final
Of the more than 130 applications received for Season 6.0, over 40 startups were shortlisted for presentation rounds, while 18 advanced to the final jury round.
The programme invited startups to propose solutions for mobility, manufacturing, customer experience, sustainability and industrial operations using emerging technologies.

MGDP Season 6.0 was conducted in partnership with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Startup India, JSW, NPCI BHIM, Jio, Gulf Oil India, TiE Delhi NCR, iCreate, Allianz Partners India, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), BSES Rajdhani Power Limited, LICO Materials and Pulse Energy.
Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director of JSW MG Motor India, said the convergence of mobility, data and artificial intelligence was creating new opportunities for the automotive industry.
“The next wave of transformation in the automotive industry will be driven by innovators who can connect these ecosystems and create solutions with real-world impact,” Mehrotra said.
He added that the programme provides startups with a platform to collaborate, experiment and scale their ideas. The company will work with the winners to explore pilot deployments across automotive technology, sustainability, industrial intelligence and mobility services.
Launched in 2019, the MG Developer Program has received more than 1,600 startup entries across its editions. Previous seasons covered connected mobility, electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, sustainability and next-generation automotive technologies.
