Zurich-based warehouse intelligence company Verity has appointed Anders Martens as Chief Executive Officer to fuel further international growth. Verity’s technology monitors physical inventory movements for retailers, manufacturers and third-party logistics providers (3PLs), translating them into operational and financial insights. The platform integrates with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, connecting physical warehouse activity with digital records. It is deployed at more than 200 facilities worldwide, including those operated by IKEA, Maersk, DSV and UPS.
Martens brings more than two decades of experience in logistics operations. He has spent the last twelve years as chief executive of Link Logistics, a Nordic express logistics company. Before Link, he spent a decade running express operations at DHL and TNT, most recently as managing director of DHL Hubs & Gateways for the Nordics. Martens takes over day-to-day leadership from Verity co-founder Raffaello D’Andrea, who steps back from management after twelve years but remains involved through the board. D’Andrea has led Verity since its founding as an ETH Zurich spin-off in 2014.
